Overview
Micabel Farms Limited ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Micabel FarmKit mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding information in connection with your use of the App.
Micabel FarmKit is an entirely offline application. It was designed from the ground up to function without an internet connection and without collecting any personal information from its users. Your privacy is not just a policy, it is a core feature of how the App works.
Plain language summary: We do not know who you are. We have no way of knowing. The App has no backend, no analytics, no crash reporting that leaves your device, and no user accounts. Everything stays on your phone.

Information We Collect
We collect no information whatsoever. This includes:
- No personal information — no name, email address, phone number, or any identifier
- No location data — the App does not access your GPS or network location
- No device information — no device ID, model, OS version, or hardware identifiers
- No usage analytics — no tracking of which features you use, how often, or for how long
- No crash reports — no automatic error reporting is sent anywhere
- No advertising identifiers — no IDFA, GAID, or any similar tracking ID is accessed
- No financial information — the App is free and processes no payments
- No contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data
There is no mechanism in the App to collect or transmit any data. It is architecturally impossible for the App to share your information because it never connects to any network.

Data Stored on Your Device
The App does store data locally on your device to provide its core features. This local data is entirely under your control and is never transmitted anywhere.
The following information is saved locally using an on-device database (Hive):
- Saved farm plans — crops you have added to your planting calendar, including the crop name, your selected region, and your chosen planting month and year
- Notes — the title, body text, optional crop tag, and timestamps of any notes you write within the App
This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to any cloud service by us. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted. You can also clear the App's data at any time from your Android device settings.
We have no access to, and no knowledge of, any content you write or save in the App.

App Permissions
Micabel FarmKit requests zero permissions from your Android device. It does not ask for access to:
- Internet or network access
- Location (GPS or network-based)
- Camera or microphone
- Storage or file system
- Contacts or calendar
- Phone state or call logs
- Notifications (no push notifications are sent)
- Any other Android permission
The App uses only the default internal app storage that Android grants all apps automatically for saving their own local data. This does not constitute a "storage permission" and requires no approval from you.

Third-Party Services
Micabel FarmKit does not integrate with any third-party services. Specifically, the App does not use:
- Analytics platforms (e.g. Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
- Advertising networks (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Audience Network)
- Crash reporting services (e.g. Crashlytics, Sentry)
- Social media SDKs (e.g. Facebook SDK, Twitter SDK)
- Cloud databases or remote storage (e.g. Firebase Firestore, Supabase)
- Push notification services (e.g. Firebase Cloud Messaging)
- Payment processors
- Any other service that would transmit data from your device to an external server
Please note that the Google Play Store itself, through which you download the App, has its own privacy practices governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We have no control over data that Google may collect as part of the Play Store platform. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

Children's Privacy
Micabel FarmKit is a farming utility tool suitable for users of all ages. Because the App collects absolutely no personal data from anyone, there is no risk to the privacy of children or any other vulnerable group.
We do not knowingly collect or have any mechanism to collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Since no data is collected from any user at all, this protection applies universally.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, particularly if a future version of the App were to introduce any form of data collection; we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post the revised policy here.
We strongly commit that any future version of Micabel FarmKit that introduces data collection will clearly disclose what is collected, why, and how, and will request your explicit consent before doing so.
We will never introduce advertising, sell user data, or share any information with third parties for commercial purposes. This is a core commitment of Micabel Farms Limited.
Continued use of the App after any posted changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
